How to craft the Cooking Pot, the Cutting Board, the Recipe Poster, the Kitchen Guide and the kitchen decor.

The kitchen tools are made on a normal crafting table. Each recipe appears in the recipe book as soon as you pick up the thing that unlocks it, usually your first Simmerfield seed.

Cooking Pot

The pot needs five iron ingots and a bowl. Its recipe also unlocks when you pick up iron or a bowl.

Paper and any Simmerfield crop. It's small enough for the crafting grid in your inventory. You also get one free the first time you join.

A book and a carrot, also small enough for your inventory's crafting grid. Use it to open the guide: every recipe with its ingredients, the crops, and how to play. You get one free the first time you join.

Kitchen decor

Eight blocks for building a kitchen. Each one turns to face you when you place it, and all but the stove are only decoration.

• Kitchen Counter and Kitchen Cabinet come two at a time. Hang cabinets on the wall, at least two blocks above a sink so the tap fits.
• Spice Shelf and Kitchen Sink are decoration.
• Kitchen Stove heats a Cooking Pot on top of it while it's lit. Use the stove to switch it on or off; it glows and gives light while it's on. Sneak to put the pot on it.
• Hanging Pan goes on the underside of a block, like a ceiling or a cabinet.
• Jar of Pickles and Vegetable Basket stand on top of a block, such as a counter.
